This was my favourite tasted over Christmas. This tawny is a blend with an average age of 10 years. Brick-red, with body and its richness of flavour, it’s great with cheese or on its own. Personally I find the 20 and 30 year tawnies lack fruit for my taste so this is ideal. Grapes varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca. Widely available but shop around as prices vary quite a bit and you can find it in different bottle sizes.
